MK PILATES STUDIO APPARATUS FOUNDATION DIPLOMA

Duration: 72 teaching hours, 9 Days, 8 hours per day

Introducing the new MK Pilates Studio Systems Foundation training program designed to meet the real needs of the Pilates Instructor by focusing on both exercise and skill development needed to stand out in the Pilates Studio job market.

The training includes the 5 core Pilates Studio instruments; Reformer (Basic & Intermediate Repertoire), Cadillac (Basic & Intermediate Repertoire), Ladder Barrel, Wunda Chair, and Spine Corrector. During the training, you will be provided with all the necessary exercises and learn how to teach each practitioner in a Personal Training environment or a class of practitioners (Small Group Training up to 5 people at a time) with quality according to their needs using all the basic pieces of equipment.

The training includes

• MK Pilates Reformer repertoire, Wunda Chair, Spine Corrector, Ladder Barrel, and Basic & Intermediate Cadillac repertoire (Trapeze Table)..
• The essence of each movement and exercise objectives.
• Muscle function and sequencing.
• Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced level course programming.
• Additional Pilates-based exercises on the equipment and their application..
• Posture analysis, posture improvement, and general fitness..
• Observation skills - Looking for correct execution of exercises.
• Program planning, exercise variations and pre-workouts for specific body types.
• Effective communication, verbal guidance and teaching with pictures.
• Practical exams with real clients and feedback.
• Examination of thesis and feedback.
• Provision of program cards, posture assessment cards, and questionnaires for practitioners/clients.

All participants will receive:

Detailed illustrated manuals with all 5 pieces of apparatus (Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Wunda Chair) exercise manuals.

International certification by MK Pilates after an examination.

Further Development:

Certification in each piece of apparatus individually.  Full Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and Wunda Chair.  Stage One for Cadillac and Reformer.

Completion of Reformer Stage Two and Cadillac Stage Two certifications ( Stage One of each is part of  Studio Apparatus Foundation Diploma)
