In today’s world, supporting our clients doesn’t stop when they walk out of the studio. As Pilates teachers, we have a unique opportunity to enhance client wellbeing through carefully curated digital assets, creating consistency, support, and inspiration that extends far beyond the mat.
1. Recorded Classes for Home Practice
Having a library of pre-recorded sessions allows clients to maintain their movement practice even when they can't attend in person. These can be short 15-minute focus sessions or full-length classes , just remind them that regularity, not perfection, is the goal.
2. Exercise Reminders and Program Sheets
For clients with specific goals or conditions, a short video or PDF with a personalised movement routine can reinforce what you've done together in the studio. These are especially helpful post-injury, post-natal, or during travel.
3. Blogs and Articles
Sharing blogs (like this one!) about posture tips, breathwork, or seasonal wellness guidance helps keep your clients educated and connected to the bigger picture of their health.
4. Email Newsletters
A monthly check-in via email keeps your studio in their mind and shows that you care. Include wellness tips, short videos, and class updates – and always sign off with a personal note or reflective thought.
5. A Private Online Community
Whether it’s a WhatsApp group, Facebook community, or members area on your website, this creates space for sharing questions, wins, and gentle encouragement – all of which help promote consistency and support mental wellbeing too.
Final Thought
Digital assets should never replace the richness of in-person teaching, but they can beautifully complement what you do. Think of them as the aftercare for your clients' wellness journey – simple tools that help them feel supported, empowered, and remembered.
